Vinewood Coverings and Construction, Inc. (“Vinewood”) is based in Lodi, California, and opened in early 2015, with an intent of providing window coverings to the greater Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus regions. The owner, a Lodi resident, came up with the name “Vinewood” while driving through the Vinewood residential community within the city limits. “Vinewood Coverings” just stuck! As time progressed, Vinewood also began offering retractable awnings, exterior drop shades, and patio structures.
To date, Vinewood has sold over several hundred retractable awnings, a variety of exterior drop shades, countless aluminum patio structures, and many interior window coverings. We now have twelve employees that serve on the team. From office staff, bookkeeping, sales and installers, the team works collaboratively to make sure the customer is priority. The mindset is family oriented; however, we strive for a professional experience. Vinewood is still considered a small business but our efforts to make the customers feel important is anything but small. Vinewood offers world-class customer service and maintains open communication by being accessible when needed and standing behind the products and services we offer. As with any organization, especially just starting out, there are always opportunities for growth along the way. We value the customer and recognize we would not be where we are today, without them.
In December 2018, Vinewood moved into a new office suite in the industrial area of east Lodi, and we now have a showroom open and available to the public. We wanted our customers to have somewhere to come to experience the joys of a retractable awning (we’ve had several requests throughout the years!), and to see a display of our window covering options. The showroom has the same hours as our office; Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
Vinewood continues to see growth and has expanded its wings even further into general contracting. As a licensed General Contractor with the state of California, Vinewood has been provided unique opportunities to perform a variety of work that goes beyond window coverings, awnings and patio industries.
